Make sure the water and ice from your refrigerator is as clean and fresh tasting as possible by replacing its water filter. This Whirlpool PuR water filter is used in Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Maytag, Amana, and JennAir side-by-side refrigerators with filter access in the base grille.

It's NSF-certified to reduce cysts, particulates (class I), asbestos, lead, mercury, and more. (The contaminants or other substances removed or reduced by this water filter are not necessarily in all users' water.) While it effectively removes contaminants from your water and ice, this filter also lowers the taste and odor of chlorine while retaining beneficial fluoride.

For the highest quality water and ice, your refrigerator's water filter needs to be changed over a period of time as its effectiveness at cleaning the water is reduced. For optimal results, you should replace this refrigerator water filter every 6 months to ensure clean, safe drinking water and ice.

Replacing Your Water Filter

For side-by-side refrigerators with filter access in the base grille, follow these instructions for replacing your filter:

Push the eject button, then pull the filter cap. Do not twist cap.
Remove the filter cap by turning it counter clockwise. Set aside cap. Discard old filter.
Remove the packaging and O-ring covers from the new filter.
Align arrows on the cap and new filter. Turn clockwise to snap in place.
Push filter into the base grill until the eject button pops. Gently tug on cap to ensure it is snug.
Flush the water system until a total of 3 gallons (12 L) has been dispensed.

SOLD OCTOBER 22 2011. Thanks for looking. Enjoy the video as it is a testament to the value and originality of these great guitars. This is a remarkable and all original VIPER 3 by Ovation circa 1975. The most critically successful guitar (and far and away hardest to find) of the Ovation company's production electrics. The viper 3 gets its name from the versatile raw power of the three passive high-output overwound single coil alnico magnet pickups. The tone you get from this instrument is fantastic. The design was way ahead of its time and generates more bite and stronger signal than the other guitars of the era. These pups were on average six decibels hotter than the competition at the time. They still wail. The bridge pick up magnets have been set on an angle to give more sizzle on the higher register. The viper is an extremely comfortable and well-balanced guitar. It's a two piece ash wood body single cutaway sporting a patent tri-mount bridge with brass saddles. The finish is ivory white -- this is the rarest and hardest to find of the viper 3 series. The design features a reinforced one piece rock maple C shaped neck, beautiful black ebony wood fretboard with pearl inlays, and twenty four nickel silver alloy frets for easy access to two full octaves. This is a straight up sexy guitar whose sound has stood the test of time, still offering all of its spank, sparkle and growl.
